I was looking through my Mom’s Flickr stream tonight and it just so happens that her photo’s start right when I went to college. Looks like Mom needed a hobby after all her babies left the house…
After looking through all the hairstyles i went through, weight loss, weight gain, bad jeans, poor makeup decisions, and zits covering my face, I realized how much I have grown up and changed in the last 4 years.

Here is a picture of me packing my things the weekend before college. Tan, thin, scared, and so ready to move out of Omaha.

• Then: 18 years old
• Now: 22 years old

• Then: I thought that moving to Lincoln would be awesome and it would bring me so much more happiness than living in my parents house
• Now: All I can think about is moving back to Omaha to be closer to my family and friends.

Hiding away on a weekend back home in my parents house. Probably on MySpace…

• Then: my Dell computer was SO awesome
• Now: I won’t own anything but a Mac from now until forever.

• Then: All over graphic print hoodies were my world
• Now: High waist skirts and ruffle tops for work are my world

• Then: I would watch “Next Top Model” marathons on weekends
• Now: I am lucky if I can catch up on any of my tv shows on weekends

My mom came to visit quite a bit. Making sure to take a lot of pictures! This one is from sophomore year.

• Then: I barely left my dorm room for events(total hermit)
• Now: I am only home to sleep and shower in between work, events, and socializing.

Needless to say, I have changed a lot and I just wanted to share these precious moments with all of you. It’s been quite the last 4 years and anyone who knows my story could agree. I look forward to posting a picture with me and a graduation cap soon (December!).
